Here’s a great post from CutandJacked.com on how to utilize different methods to burn calories. One of my favorites is to cut the rest times on sprints.
If you’re lucky enough to have access to hills around your bootcamp then take advantage because you and your bootcampers will get benefits that you would not normally get during flat surface cardio.
I just finished up 5 hill sprints in 10 minutes in my neighborhood. My “heartbreak hill” has about an 8% incline that continues to increase to around 15%.
Next time, I would go for 5 hill sprints in 9 1/2 minutes.
Each hill sprint takes roughly 30 seconds to complete (longer on sprint # 3,4 and 5)
And then I walk down the hill (recovery) and go again.
