Working hamstrings can be difficult sometimes in a bootcamp setting. Maybe you don’t have weights or some sort of resistance but with this exercise, you won’t have to worry about using any equipment.
Check it out, it’s called “Glute Bridge “V” Walkouts”.
I would definitely incorporate this exercise in my own training and I think trying this in a group type of setting would work very well.
After a general warm up, I would have everyone try this exercise in a group setting.
I might pull one person aside BEFORE the class starts and show them the exercise.
Then I would have them “volunteer” 🙂 to be my helper and demo the exercise for the rest of the group.
I would stand and explain the exercise, the purpose of the exercise and the correct way to do it while my helper is demonstrating it.
I always pick a veteran for these “demos” and make sure that I’m not putting them on the spot.
You know how that is. Some of our members love to be the center of attention while others…not so much.
Anyway, give this exercise a try and see what you think.
